I am Tathagata Paul, a CS Grad @ Stony Brook University, New York. Previously, I graduated from Indian Institute of Information Technology with a Bachelor’s in Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering. My thesis title was Infrastructureless Communication in Disaster Scenarios using Wifi-Direct where I worked under the supervision of Prof.Kiran Kumar Pattanaik
I have extensive hands-on experience developing scalable applications using programming languages such as Golang, Python, C/C++ and Javascript. I have a broad interest in Systems and I like to explore on topics ranging from Cloud and Distributed Systems, Databases, Large-Scale Systems, Observability and Monitoring and much more. I have also worked extensively with cloud orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and platforms such as GCP and AWS. While working as a Platform Engineer Intern at Lummo, I become proficient working with IaC tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD and Jenkins. I am an advocate for Open Source Software and I have previously contributed to open-source Cloud Native projects such as Kyverno, Cert-Manager and Meshery. I have worked as an intern at multiple startups during my undergrad years including the likes of Listnr Inc and StackGuardian and Lummo. I also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at RedHat in 2023.

📢 I am currently interning at Tesla working on Tesla Cloud Platform, a highly available, self-service, scalable internal cloud platform that spans across multiple Kubernetes nodes globally.
